Model versus fact

A model is a changing structured interpretation of available signals. Some entries come directly from information you provided; others may be derived or inferred. An inference can be useful and still be incomplete or wrong.

Review responsibly

1. 1Check which part of the model you are reading.
2. 2Look for its supporting context or source category.
3. 3Compare it with your current goals and actual experience.
4. 4Correct source information or remove a connection when appropriate.
5. 5Allow synchronization time before concluding that a correction failed.

Do not use the model as

• A diagnosis or psychological test.
• Proof of another person's intentions.
• A basis for employment, credit, insurance, legal, or medical decisions.
• A permanent label that overrides your own judgment.
